Dr. Čavoški is a research fellow at the Institute For Recent History of Serbia, where he conducts research on the history of China's and Serbia's relations with the Third World. He has a PhD in diplomacy/diplomatic history from the Peking University, School of International Studies. He has done extensive scientific research as a guest scholar in China, India, Myanmar, the U.S., Russia, Cuba, Canada etc. and he has taken part in more than forty international conferences in different parts of Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. His articles and book chapters dealing with the history of China's foreign relations and the Nonaligned Movement have been published in leading journals and volumes in Serbia, China, the U.S., Britain, India, Russia, Indonesia, Algeria etc. Besides speaking several European Languages (English, Russian, Italian, Spanish), he is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, speaks intermediate level Hindi, and he is currently learning Bahasa Indonesian.
