KUSAI Sándor Zoltán, Ambassador

Amb. Kusai started his career as desk officer for China at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary in 1985, and spent five year (1986-1991) as Assistant Attaché, Attaché and later Third Secretary of the Embassy of Hungary in Beijing. Following his return to Budapest, he served as the Head of the China Desk until his deployment to the position of the First Secretary and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Hungary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between 1994 and 1997. Mr. Kusai was promoted to the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary, Deputy Head of the Embassy of Hungary in Beijing in 2000, while he worked as Deputy Director General and Diplomatic Advisor of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister between 2004 and 2006. In 2008 Mr. Kusai was appointed to Beijing as the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to the PRC, where he served until 2014. Today he is a lecturer at Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
