Andreja JAKLIČ, Ph.D.

Andreja Jaklič is professor and research fellow at the Centre of International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. Her teaching areas include International economics, International Business, International Business Environment, EU in a global economy and Research seminar. She got experience in several international research projects; four European framework programmes, two regional research competition programs of World Bank, Emerging Market Global Players Project, she coordinated several national research projects in Slovenia and participate in COST research networks. Most of her research and consultancy work is focused on competitiveness, internationalization, industrial and trade policy, international trade, FDI, multinational enterprises and performance, in particular creation of multinational enterprises in the former transition economies. Micro level research is related to internationalization strategies, enterprise change, innovation and performance. Since 2010 she is a board member of European International Business Academy and a founding member of AIB –Central and Eastern European Chapter Executive Committee.
