Tamás is the East Asia editor of Hungary's foremost foreign news portal, Kitekintő.hu, and a former Tokyo correspondent of the MTI Hungarian national news agency. Previously, he conducted research on East Asian economic regionalism and security at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University, and published extensively on Japanese foreign policy and regional affairs.
