Interested and specialised in the whole of the East Asian region, Katalin is working towards her PhD. She earned her BA degree in Chinese, Korean and South East Asian Studies at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, then pursued a master’s degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London Having spent significant time abroad working in London and China at the Beijing Hungarian Cultural Centre, she joined Deloitte Chinese Services Group and assisted Chinese companies wishing to do business in Central Europe. A seasoned consultant with international experience and of multicultural background, Katalin is now managing the boutique consulting company Basilicon while establishing herself in the academia.
